Tomato, Basil, Garlic and Cucumber
4 tomatoes, chopped
1 handful fresh basil
2 cloves garlic, peeled
1 cucumber, chopped
1 handful fresh basil
2 cloves garlic, peeled
1 cucumber, chopped

A savoury juice that tastes a lot like fresh gazpacho. Ripe tomatoes give it body, basil and garlic the flavour, and cucumber keeps it light.
Makes: about 2 to 3 glasses (around 600ml). Prep: 10 minutes.
How to make it
- Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
- Cut the cucumber into lengths that fit the feed chute.
- Peel the garlic and roll the basil into a small bundle.
- Feed the garlic and basil in between the tomato pieces, finishing with the cucumber.
- Stir and season to taste.
Tips and swaps
Use the ripest tomatoes you can find. Vine tomatoes have the most flavour. A pinch of salt and black pepper, or a dash of hot sauce, works well. Serve it very cold.
