Coriander, Cucumber, Celery and Ginger

CORIANDER, CUCUMBER, CELERY AND GINGER
250g coriander leaves, chopped
2 cucumbers, chopped
2 celery stalks
1 knob ginger, peeled & chopped
Coriander, cucumber, celery and ginger juice recipe made with a Fridja masticating juicer.

A very green, fresh juice with a strong herb flavour and a warm ginger finish.

Makes: about 2 glasses (around 500ml). Prep: 10 minutes.

How to make it

  1. Wash the coriander. The stalks juice as well as the leaves, so keep them in.
  2. Cut the cucumbers into lengths that fit the feed chute.
  3. Cut the celery into short pieces.
  4. Peel the ginger and cut it into small pieces.
  5. Feed the coriander and ginger in between the cucumber and celery.
  6. Stir and serve.

Tips and swaps

250g of coriander is a large amount, roughly a big bunch from a greengrocer. If you're new to the taste, start with half. Add a green apple for a little sweetness.

Which Fridja juicer to use

The f1900 Whole Fruit Juicer. Its slow press works well with soft herbs.

Storing it

Best drunk fresh. It keeps in a sealed glass jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
