The Juicer That Finally Made Whole Fruit Juicing Practical
A simpler way to make fresh juice at home, without the chopping or the complicated clean-up.
Fresh juice has never really gone out of fashion. It feels optimistic, healthy and intentional, the kind of habit people start at the beginning of a new year or at the start of a new routine. Most families who invest in a juicer do so with good intentions. They imagine colourful glasses of apple and carrot in the morning, green blends before school, something quick and nourishing before the day begins.
Yet for many households, the routine does not last. The machine works perfectly well, but it slowly becomes less convenient. The issue is rarely the quality of the juice. It is the effort surrounding it. The chopping beforehand, the supervision while it runs, and the cleaning afterwards are what gradually turn enthusiasm into avoidance.
Self-feeding cold press juicing has gained attention for one simple reason. It addresses those friction points directly.
The Hidden Friction in Traditional Juicing
Traditional juicers often promise speed or power, and many claim to handle whole fruit. In practice, however, most still require apples to be quartered, carrots to be halved and ingredients to be carefully reduced in size before they can pass through a narrow chute. Once switched on, they frequently require constant pushing and supervision, particularly when processing firmer produce or leafy greens.
Centrifugal machines can be loud and produce a layer of foam, while older-style cold press juicers, though capable of producing excellent texture, are sometimes associated with more parts and longer cleaning times. None of these details seem significant on the first use. Over time, however, they add up. Five extra minutes of chopping here, ten minutes of cleaning there, and suddenly juicing feels like a task rather than a habit.
For families, especially on busy mornings, practicality matters more than perfection.
What Self-Feeding Changes
Self-feeding cold press juicers are built around a wider chamber and a more natural ingredient flow. Instead of forcing produce through a tight tube, you load ingredients into a larger chamber, close the lid and allow the machine to draw them in gradually.
You load it. You close it. It feeds itself.
There is no constant pushing. No standing over the machine while it works. Preparation is reduced because ingredients do not need to be cut into small pieces before you begin.
The change is not dramatic in appearance. It is practical in daily life. And practicality is what makes habits stick.
A Practical Example: The f2500
The f2500 Self Feeding Whole Fruit Juicer was developed around this idea of reducing effort. Its 135mm self-feeding chamber is wide enough to accept whole apples, large carrot pieces and generous handfuls of leafy greens without meticulous chopping.
No slicing everything down to size. No feeding pieces one by one.
You place ingredients into the chamber, close the lid and let the slow press system do the rest.
Cleaning Without the Chore
If preparation is the first barrier, cleaning is usually the second. Cold press juicers are often perceived as complicated to clean, especially when fine mesh filters require careful scrubbing after every use.
The f2500 was designed to simplify this stage as well. By reducing the number of components and avoiding a delicate mesh basket that demands extended cleaning time, the process becomes more straightforward. The main parts are dishwasher safe, and the overall assembly is intuitive to dismantle and reassemble.
Fewer parts. No delicate mesh filter. Dishwasher-safe components.
Cleaning takes minutes rather than feeling like another job at the sink. Over time, that simplicity encourages continued use. A juicer that is easy to clean is far more likely to remain on the worktop.
Slow Cold Press, Smoother Results
Operating at 60RPM, the f2500 gently presses ingredients rather than shredding them at high speed. This slower extraction reduces heat and oxidation, helping preserve flavour and texture while producing juice that is typically smoother and less foamy.
Less heat. Less foam. Quieter mornings.
The slower motor also makes the machine noticeably calmer than centrifugal alternatives. The emphasis is not on speed for the sake of it, but on steady, consistent performance that fits naturally into a family kitchen.
Designed for Everyday Kitchens
The f2500 is not positioned as a commercial machine, and it is not intended to feel like specialist equipment. It was developed for ordinary households that want fresh juice to become part of everyday life without turning the kitchen into a production line. It handles hard fruits, root vegetables, leafy greens, peeled citrus, pomegranate and wheatgrass with ease, offering flexibility across the week rather than limiting you to one type of recipe.
It can also be used to prepare vegan nut milks and simple fruit sorbets, which broadens its role beyond morning juice. Almond or cashew milk made fresh at home feels different from the boxed versions in a supermarket fridge, and frozen fruit pressed slowly into a smooth sorbet requires nothing more than good ingredients. The machine adapts quietly, without asking for more effort from you.
That versatility matters, but it is not the main point. The real difference lies in how naturally the f2500 fits into daily life. Because it removes the need for extensive chopping and simplifies the cleaning process, it addresses the two most common reasons juicers go unused. When preparation is minimal and clean-up is manageable, the barrier to using it again tomorrow disappears.
In the end, more families are switching to self-feeding cold press juicing not because it is a trend, but because it feels sustainable. It is a calmer, more practical way to make fresh juice, nut milks and fruit sorbets at home. And when something feels easy enough to repeat, it becomes part of the routine rather than an occasional effort.
If fresh juice is something you want to make part of everyday life rather than something you start and stop, the difference becomes clear.

This is the first steamer I've bought. I did a lot of research and this one seemed to be the best for quality and value for money. I was specifically looking for one that could tackle thick cotton and linen. It's done an OK job, however, I think this was more to do with the operator than the steamer itself. It was really easy to set up.
The brush is fine it does what it is supposed to do.
Getting it was not so easy, and there was a serious lack of communication by Fridja. I am still waiting for aa returns label to send back the heat glove that I did not order.
The slow juicer does, what it should:-). The result is amazing!
Only the cleaning of the spindle inside and the outlet of the pressed vegetable fibres is a bit laborious.
Does what it says it does. Easily.
No noise. Only the best juice...
You wont regret buying this...
Takes 2 minutes to clean after using..
Far exceeds my expectation...
I recieved the juicer been using it for a few weeks now...
It does a great job my only problem is the overheating then the safety protection comes on...
This can be irritating when doing a big load
As it subtract time from my day...
Having to waiting for it to cool down never had that before with any of my previous juicers.
A part from that it's a great product
Smashing wee bit of kit for a smoothie or shake on the move without the usual palaver. Highly recommended for gym-goers, commuters, busy mornings, or anyone who wants one blender that doubles as the cup.
This is a good portable blender if your main use is protein shakes, smoothies and similar drinks. The stainless steel insulated cup makes it feel more premium and useful than the typical plastic portable blender, while the USB-C charging and compact design make it genuinely convenient to use away from home.
el servicio es bueno . por lo que no estoy tan contento , es por que es la segunda pieza que tengo que cambiar . la prensadora tiene 1 año y 3 meses .
saludos
Great product, great service.
Really impressed with this juicer. We have several apple trees and want to make cider. Last year we bought a traditional style press and it took us half a day and a LOT of mess to juice about 100 apples to get about 4 litres of juice. This year we bought a Fridja f1900 Whole Fruit Juicer and managed to juice about 200 apples in around 90 minutes to produce 3 gallons of juice. This included time to rinse out all the parts a few times and to let the juicer cool down after 30mins continual use. We quartered the apples to make it a bit quicker and easier on the machine but could have put the smaller ones in whole. The pulp that comes out is VERY dry so we put some in jars to see if it will make vinegar and the rest just went into compost.
Easy to set up and clean. I like the is no much preparation before you will get juice.
I have tried to make almond milk was nice and easy, no hassle.
The only one disadvantage is, there is quite a bit of pulp in a fruit processor after finish.
This Fridja f20 Handheld Clothes Steamer is stylish, comfortable to use and heats up quickly. It produces plenty of steam and glided over my jacket with ease, while the suction function really helped tackle stubborn creases. It does an excellent job and I’d highly recommend it.
I first used the steamer on my lounge curtains to freshen them up. This worked well.I noticed a dirty mark on the side of my sofa and after several passes over it, removed the stain. I next used it to get creases out of a new blouse that I just bought. I wanted to wear it that day but didn’t have time to set the iron up. After less than a minute to get the steamer ready, I use the low steam and low suction setting and it was crease free in no time it’s lightweight and easy to use. I’d recommend this steamer and It arrived quickly
Love that fact that it is simple to use and no sharp blades so very safe to use.
I love the time saved and the little effort required to get a full bottle of natural healthy juice.
I'm absolutely chuffed with this juicer!
The Fridja F600 Portable Blender seamlessly combines the power of a blender with the convenience of a premium travel flask. Its smart two-in-one design allows me to swap the blender head for a drinking lid in seconds, so I can drink straight from the cup with no extra dishes to wash.
It is built for life on the move. The blender weighs just 792g and features a comfortable carrying handle. The 500ml cup is made from durable 304 stainless steel that resists odors and stains, while its double-walled insulation keeps the smoothies fresh for up to 6 hours. Despite its compact size, the six stainless steel blades spin at 18,000 RPM to easily crush ice and frozen fruit. With a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts for roughly 10 blends per charging, it can easily handles breakfasts for a small family.
Overall, the Fridja F600 is a powerful, low-maintenance appliance. It is the perfect choice for anyone wanting fresh, frosty drinks at the gym, office, or on the road without the hassle of a traditional setup.
The Fridja clothes steamer comes in an attractive box with cardboard inserts for protection. An instruction booklet, resting stand, spare dust filter and a handy travel pouch are included.
The water tank is inside the handle and is pulled out to remove. To fill a silicone stopper is removed and the tank can be filled from the tap. The steamer feels of good quality and looks well made. The instructions are required to initially understand the functions. Plugging in and waking up takes only 30 seconds. Two levels of steam can be selected or dry iron. A nice fearure is the suction fan that pulls the fabric into the sole plate. This is really useful for garments that are in a hanger and there’s no suitable surface to use as an ironing board. I used a creased shirt and ironed it traditionally on an ironing board and then hanging over the side as if on a hanger. The suction feature worked really well and the folds and creases fell out. This would be a telly useful travel iron that will quickly smooth out ceases and wrinkles but can also put in a smart ironed crease in sleeves and trousers if desired. A stand is provided with heatproof silicone inserts. The stand is not well designed but is adequate to keep the iron off a delicate surface until cool. All in all this is a quality steamer that is very effective and at a reasonable cost so value for money.
I had been looking for a steamer which I could use while travelling, so I was very pleased when this product arrived.
First things first, this is not a very heavy steamer, which makes it suitable for when you are travelling. In the box, you get the steamer, an extra filter, a small plate to keep the hot steamer on, a bag to carry it and an instruction manual. The instructions are very simple and detailed. The power cord length is also very good, which makes it easier to use.
Once you open the steamer, you first need to put water into the small tank. There is no funnel or anything provided, so it was a bit of a struggle to fill the water tank. Once filled, I checked for any leaks and the good thing is that there was no leak.
When you switch the steamer on, it takes around 30–40 seconds to get ready for ironing, which is fairly standard. There are two suction levels and two steam levels. I preferred to use low steam and low suction on T-shirts or trousers, but heavier clothes like jeans are done nicely with high steam and high suction. The suction is a useful feature as it helps hold the clothes in place while steaming.
Please note that it does make some sound while the suction is running, which is expected.
Currently priced at £99.99, which seems reasonable to me considering the features and the fact that it can be used as both a steamer and an iron.
This is smart, well made with a premium feel and very effective in use. After switch on it takes around 30 secs for the plate to heat up in the default iron mode. The plate glides really well, it's not a heavy steamer and the twist head makes getting a good angle straightforward.
I've steamed and ironed all sorts* and it works well, the iron mode better than my actual iron and the steam helps creases fall out with ease. It's not a noisy steamer until the suction mode is enabled and at that stage the volume level goes up though it's not horribly loud. The noise is justified though because it does a decent enough job of sucking up excess water, it's not 100% but it's still good.
For all the good above there are a few things that i find odd or disappointing. The most obvious is the small 90ml water tank that states an 8 minute steam runtime. How it's filled is another matter, it's a tiny fill port and bizarrely for a premium £99.99 steamer there is no funnel or similar provided to help fill it. Why a cheap little funnel or jug wasn't included is beyond me for the price, you get those with budget irons and steamers.
The next thing is the holder that is used to keep this safe during and after use while it's hot. It seems to be an afterthought and seems like a repurposed soap dish rather than something practical or designed specifically for this. It's poor, unstable and a faff to deal with and coupled with the design of the handle and placement of the mains cable it doesn't inspire confidence.
My other grumble is there is no brush attachment included which you can attach to the hot plate to dig into fibres on materials or prevent direct contact with the target surface. To me that's a must for velvet-like material or similar.
I've rated this 4 stars because it's very good at what it does but at this price it lacks basic accessories to improve the usability.
The steamer comes very well packaged which means that it is well protected in transit. Weighing no more than a simple iron, it is comfortable to hold and use. An illustrated instruction booklet is included and runs to ten pages. The QR code in the booklet gives access to a useful introductory video. A soft cloth bag is supplied which is helpful if one intends to travel with it.
The construction is sturdy being made of hard plastic and metal. The switches are positive as they are mechanical rather than touch screen. The soleplate rotates smoothly and clicks easily into place. You may find it difficult to extract the water container from the end of the handle at first but it gets easier with use. The water container isn’t very big which is a shame. No jug or syringe is supplied which seems a bit of a miss given the price of the steamer compared to a cheap funnel. You need to find a small container that can fill the water tank through a hole approximately 1cm in diameter.
The pump that puffs out steam at a lower or higher rate, is quiet, making just a low clicking sound. The fan that creates the suction, makes more noise, depending on the power level chosen.
This is a very well-made steamer which is comfortable to use and effective. Recommended.
This blender is very powerful. It is lightweight but still feels sturdy and well made. The blades are very powerful, so you really need to be careful when operating or cleaning it. It blends fruits very quickly and makes it very easy to prepare fresh juices and smoothies.
The 500ml capacity is also good for making a decent-sized smoothie or juice. I also really like the safety feature where it won’t work when it is empty, which gives some extra peace of mind.
Another thing I like is that it is made with a steel cup rather than plastic, which feels much safer and more durable. It is also very easy to clean, although you cannot put it in the dishwasher and it needs to be cleaned by hand. The fact that it is water resistant and can be rinsed under a running tap makes cleaning fairly straightforward.
It is also USB-C rechargeable, which is very handy, especially if you want to take it with you when travelling. The battery gives you several blends before needing to be charged again.
I think the price is reasonable considering how powerful and convenient it is.
Overall, I can say that this is a very powerful and useful blender, especially if you want to prepare fresh juices and smoothies quickly.
Hope you find this review helpful.
The blender comes attractively packaged so would make a very acceptable gift. An illustrated instruction booklet is included. Using the USB cable, I charged mine up before use. When low in power, a red light going around the base unit is visible and this turns a bluey green when the blender is charged.
The blender is very smooth to the touch and the handle is comfortable to hold, balancing well when held. It has a rubber mat on the base which gives it that bit extra stability so it is not so inclined to move around when in use. It also ensures that it won’t scratch the work surface. The blades come with a guard over them which, obviously, need to be removed before use. Although not silent, the blender is reasonably quiet. It does a good job at blending.
This is a good quality blender that works well. Recommended.
