A smoothie should be cold. Properly cold, thick enough to hold a spoon upright, and still that way when you sit down to drink it. Most portable blenders can't manage it, because a thin plastic cup was never going to keep anything cold.

So we built this one around the cup. Double-walled 304 stainless steel, insulated the way a good flask is insulated, with six blades underneath turning at 18,000 rpm. Ice crushed in seconds. Cold for hours.

Here is the part we are most pleased with. The blender head lifts away and a drinking lid goes on in its place, so the cup you blended in is simply the cup you carry. Nothing to decant, and nothing waiting in the sink.

Overview

Crushes ice with six stainless steel blades spinning at 18,000 rpm

Blend it, then drink from it, because the blender head swaps for a drinking lid in seconds

Stays cold for up to 6 hours in a double-walled insulated steel cup

Nothing extra to wash, because you never pour it into anything else

A big, comfortable handle that makes it a genuine pleasure to carry

Around 10 blends per charge, so a whole week of breakfasts on one top-up

USB-C charging from the cable already sitting on your desk

Just 792g, so it lives in your bag rather than your cupboard

Food-grade 304 stainless steel that never stains, clouds or holds a smell

500ml, exactly one generous smoothie

Features

Thick, frozen smoothies. Every time. Six stainless steel blades turning at 18,000 rpm, with the torque to drive them, means ice actually breaks down instead of rattling about at the top. Frozen berries, frozen banana, a handful of ice cubes, all of it comes out smooth and thick and properly cold. This is the difference between a portable blender you use once and one you use every morning.

The cup you blend in is the cup you carry. Unscrew the blender head, click on the drinking lid, and you're done. That's the whole routine. No decanting into a travel bottle, no rinsing out a second cup at the end of the day, no standing at the sink when you should be leaving the house.

It keeps everything cold, for four to six hours. Double-walled stainless steel is the same construction that made insulated tumblers a phenomenon, and it does exactly what you'd hope. A smoothie made at breakfast is still properly cold by mid-afternoon, whether the cup has been in a bag, a car or on a sunny desk. The outside never sweats either, so it can sit on paperwork without leaving a ring.

Sealed and ready to travel. The drinking lid threads down onto a silicone sealing ring and the push-top spout locks shut, so it's made to go in a rucksack rather than be carried carefully in both hands.

Rated IPX6 for water resistance. Rinse it under a running tap without a second thought. Very few portable blenders can say that, and it makes cleaning up after a berry smoothie considerably less careful work.

A handle that changes everything. Full size, moulded, properly positioned. It sounds like a small thing and it's the reason this becomes the cup you take everywhere rather than a gadget that lives by the kettle.

Blend upside down. Screw the head on, double tap the button, and turn the whole thing over while it runs. The blades work down through everything rather than spinning underneath it, which is exactly why the texture comes out so smooth.

A week of breakfasts per charge. Around ten blends from full, charged over USB-C from the same cable as your phone. Red light means top it up, solid blue means you're ready.

Food-grade 304 stainless steel. Professional kitchen grade, and it's what your drink actually touches. Berries don't stain it, turmeric doesn't stain it, it never clouds the way plastic does after a few months, and it never holds the smell of yesterday. Outside, a soft matte black finish that looks lovely on a desk.

Clever enough to look after itself. Overload protection stops the motor if a blade jams. Thermal protection gives it a breather if you run it hard. It won't run while charging either, which is exactly what you want from something with a blade in it.

A blade cover for the drawer. Clear, clips straight over the blades, keeps everything tidy and safe between uses.

Who it's for

You want your smoothie thick and frozen. Ice goes in, ice gets crushed, and what comes out is the proper cold, spoonable, satisfying kind of smoothie.

You make one most mornings. Fill, blend, cap, go. Faster than digging the big blender out of the cupboard, and there's nothing waiting in the sink when you get home.

You're fed up carrying two cups. A blender bottle and a water bottle, both taking up half your bag. This is one cup that handles the whole day.

You want it cold when you get there. Not lukewarm, not separated. Cold, hours later.

You travel, commute or live in a gym bag. Cordless, USB-C, 792g, sealed lid, big handle. It charges from a power bank on a train.

You've had a plastic one before. And you've watched it stain, cloud and start to smell. Steel simply doesn't.

COLD FOR HOURS

Still cold when you get there.

The smoothie you made before work is still cold at your desk mid-morning. Double-walled steel keeps the cold in, and the outside never sweats onto your bag.

A PROPER HANDLE

Made to be carried, not just held.

Most portable blenders give you a smooth cylinder and hope for the best. This one has a full-size handle, the sort you hook your fingers through without thinking about it. Carry it from the kitchen to the car, from the desk to the meeting, all day if you like.

SIX BLADES

Upside down.
On purpose.

Add fruit, a splash of milk and a handful of ice. Double tap to start, then turn it upside down. Thick, frozen and properly cold, the way a smoothie is supposed to be.

JUST 792G

Lighter than the cup already in your bag.

Big handle, 792g, sealed lid and USB-C charging. Most insulated cups weigh more than this and they haven't even got a motor in them.

A COVER FOR THE BLADES

Blend anywhere and store the blades safely.

Six sharp blades, and a clear cover that clips straight over them. Once you've swapped to the drinking lid, the head goes safely back in your bag.

USB-C, TEN BLENDS

Charges using the cable you already own.

No proprietary dock, no adaptor to lose. Plug it into the same lead as your phone and it gives you around ten blends, which for most people is a week of breakfasts. Red light means top it up, solid blue means you're ready. It'll charge from a power bank on a train, too.

TWO WALLS OF STEEL

Built like a flask, not a bottle.

Two layers of 304 stainless steel with a gap between them, which is what keeps four to six hours of cold in and stops the outside sweating onto your desk. It's the same construction as a good vacuum flask, and it's the reason we built this blender around the cup rather than the other way round.

Crushes ice. Keeps it cold.

Two things a portable blender rarely manages at once.

Which portable blender++is right for you?. Which blender is right for you? Both of ours crush ice and both go where you go. The f500 Portable Blender holds more and costs less, so it's the one if you blend at home and want the biggest jug for the money. The f600 Stainless Steel Portable Blender is built around an insulated steel cup, so your smoothie is still cold hours later and you carry the same cup you blended in.

Does the f600 Stainless Steel Portable Blender crush ice?

Yes, properly. Six stainless steel blades turning at 18,000 rpm break ice right down, so you get a thick frozen smoothie rather than a fruit drink with lumps in it. Add your liquid below the MAX line and blend upside down for the smoothest result.

Can you drink straight from a portable blender?

With most of them, not comfortably. The f600 Stainless Steel Portable Blender is built for it. The blender head lifts off and a drinking lid goes straight on in its place, so the insulated steel cup you blended in becomes the cup in your hand. No second bottle, no washing up two things.

Does the f600 Stainless Steel Portable Blender keep drinks cold?

Yes. The cup is double-walled stainless steel, the same construction that makes insulated tumblers so good at their job. Your smoothie stays cold for hours in a bag, a car or on a sunny desk, and the outside never sweats.

How long does the battery last?

Around ten blends from a full charge, which is a week of breakfasts for most people. It charges over USB-C in four to five hours. Red light means top it up, solid blue means you're good to go. Probably uses the same charger as your phone, and you can even charge in your car.

How do you use the f600 Stainless Steel Portable Blender?

Fill the cup to around 60% with your ingredients, add liquid below the MAX line, screw the blender head on, then double tap the button and turn the blender upside down while it runs. Turn it back upright, swap the head for the drinking lid, and enjoy.

Why do you turn it upside down?

So the blades work down through everything rather than spinning underneath it. Inverting it while it blends is what gives you that smooth, even texture, especially with ice and thicker mixes.

Is it easy to clean?

Very. Half fill with warm water and a drop of washing up liquid, run a short cycle, then rinse. It's rated IPX6 for water resistance, so you can rinse it under a running tap without worrying about it.

Is stainless steel better than plastic for a portable blender?

For most people, yes. Food-grade 304 stainless steel never stains from berries or turmeric, never clouds the way plastic does after a few months, and never holds the smell of yesterday's smoothie. It's also what allows the double-walled construction that keeps your drink cold, which a single-wall plastic cup simply can't do.

How heavy is the f600 Stainless Steel Portable Blender?

792g on its own, and 856g with the drinking lid and charging cable. Lighter than plenty of insulated cups that don't have a motor in them at all.

Can you take it on a plane?

Yes. It's cordless, USB-C charged and 792g, so it travels beautifully. Pack it in your hand luggage, as you would any device with a rechargeable battery.

Should I choose the f500 Portable Blender or the f600 Stainless Steel Portable Blender?

Choose the f500 Portable Blender if you want the largest capacity at the lowest price. Choose the f600 Stainless Steel Portable Blender if you want your smoothie to stay cold for hours and you'd rather carry one insulated steel cup with a proper handle.

What warranty comes with the f600 Stainless Steel Portable Blender?

12 months as standard, with longer cover in some EU markets. Every Fridja product also comes with free delivery, hassle-free returns and a money-back guarantee.
