The f2500 Self Feeding Whole Fruit Juicer takes whole apples, carrots and beets down a 135mm chute with no chopping and no pushing. Close the lid and walk away. A 240W motor turns the auger at around 60RPM, so it cold presses slowly, keeps the nutrients in and leaves properly dry pulp. Juice keeps for up to 72 hours in the fridge, and it makes nut milk and sorbet too.

The f600 Stainless Steel Portable Blender is the other half of the routine. A 500ml double-walled 304 stainless steel cup, six blades at 18,000rpm, ice crushed in seconds, and a smoothie that is still cold hours later. The blender head lifts off and a drinking lid goes on, so the cup you blended in is the cup you carry.

What is the difference between juicing and blending?

Do I really not need to chop anything for the f2500?

For most produce, no. The 135mm chute is one of the widest available, so whole apples, carrots, cucumber and celery drop straight in. Larger produce like pineapple still needs halving, and anything with a stone needs stoning.

What is a self feeding juicer?

One that pulls produce into the juicing chamber on its own instead of making you push it down with a plunger. On the f2500 Self Feeding Whole Fruit Juicer you load the hopper, close the lid and walk away while it works.

What is cold pressed juice and why does it matter?

Cold pressing means the produce is crushed slowly by an auger rather than shredded at high speed. Less heat and less oxidation means more of the vitamins, enzymes and antioxidants survive, less foam, and juice that keeps for up to 72 hours in the fridge rather than separating within the hour.

How is a masticating juicer different from a centrifugal one?

A masticating juicer like the f2500 Self Feeding Whole Fruit Juicer presses slowly at around 60RPM. A centrifugal juicer shreds at high speed, which generates heat and whips air into the juice. Masticating gives a higher yield, drier pulp and better nutrient retention. Centrifugal is faster but noisier and wetter.

Can the f2500 juice leafy greens and wheatgrass?

Yes. Spinach, kale, wheatgrass, celery, carrots, beets and pomegranate all work well. Leafy greens are exactly where slow juicers pull ahead of centrifugal ones.

Hours. The cup is double-walled 304 stainless steel, built the same way an insulated flask is, so it keeps a cold drink cold in a bag or a car and never sweats on the outside.

Can I drink straight from the f600 Stainless Steel Portable Blender?

That is the point of it. The blender head lifts off and a drinking lid goes on in its place, so the insulated steel cup you blended in becomes the cup in your hand. There is nothing to decant and nothing extra in the sink.

Looks good, slim and is compact in design. Fits nicely in a place with little counter top space and is quieter than expected. I like it as do my family. However we have noticed in the waste, once it does extract the fruit or vegetable, there is some moisture left in the waste compartment which means alot of juice has been wasted. Not the best we have used however, it is still usable. We also noticed you need alot of fruit or vegetables to get 100mls out of the juicer. For example, we used more than 5 whole carrots just to get 100mls.
